There appears to be a lot of talk in the spiritual and healing space about Human Design lately. It seems a lot of healers and alternative health practitioners are using it to help their clients understand themselves better. I know as a Reiki/Crystal Healer and Numerologist I have become curious about this method, so I thought I would delve deeper to learn more about this system and share the information with our readers.
So, what is Human Design?
Human Design is a relatively new system that was first introduced in the 1980s. It combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, and the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system and quantum physics to create a personalized chart that provides insights into an individual’s unique characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses. The system gained popularity in the 1990s and has continued to grow in popularity due to its unique approach to understanding human behaviour and decision-making. Its popularity may also be attributed to the growing interest in self-discovery and personal growth practices.
The Human Design chart is based on your birth information, a bit like your Astrology chart and provides insights into your personality, strengths, weaknesses, and life path. It can be used as a tool for personal growth and self-discovery. From this chart you will be identified as one of 5 different human design personality types: Manifestor, Generator, Projector, Reflector, and Manifesting Generator. Each type has its own unique characteristics and ways they interact with the world.
I thought it would be great to share the characteristics of each personality type, so you can see if you identify with one, then if you wish to learn more you can reach out to someone trained in Human Design to create your own chart to confirm.
The human design profile of a Manifestor is characterized by their ability to initiate action and bring ideas into reality. They have a strong sense of independence and are often seen as natural leaders. Manifestors are also known for their ability to create impact and influence others, but they may sometimes struggle with feeling misunderstood or isolated.
The human design profile of a Generator is characterized by having a defined sacral centre, which gives them a strong life force energy and a natural ability to respond to the world around them. They are also often very skilled at using their energy to complete tasks and work hard towards their goals. However, they may struggle with feeling stuck or frustrated if they are not able to use their energy in a productive way. Overall, generators tend to be driven, hardworking, and responsive individuals.
As per Human Design, Projectors tend to have a natural ability to guide and manage others. They tend to have a penetrating and focused energy that can make them highly effective in their work. Projectors often excel at recognizing opportunities and the potential in others, but they may need to wait for the right invitations to fully express their gifts. Some other characteristics of Projectors include being observant, strategic, and sensitive to the energy of others.
The reflector is a human design profile that represents about 1% of the population. Reflectors tend to be highly sensitive to their environment and the people around them, which can make them excellent judges of character. They are also known for their ability to reflect the energy of those around them, which can make them very adaptable to different situations. Reflectors are often very good at seeing things from multiple perspectives, and they tend to be very open-minded and curious. Additionally, reflectors may take longer than other types to make decisions or come to conclusions, as they need time to process and reflect.
The Manifesting Generator human design profile is a combination of the Generator and Manifestor profiles, which means they have traits of both. Some of the characteristics include a strong life force energy, the ability to respond quickly to opportunities, multitasking abilities, a need for variety and stimulation, and a tendency to skip steps or take shortcuts to achieve their goals. They are also known for their efficiency and creativity.
